Inventory Update

As we stand, I have ditched the balaclava, added a spare tire and, a CONVERTER for European sockets! Duh.

I also might mention that I wear a cheap Casio watch and am carrying a tiny wallet. What’s more, I broke down and brought a book.

I also forgot to leave myself a pair of socks unpacked, so now I have an additional pair.

Oh, and I bought a pair of headphones, and I am bringing a rag- I cleaned my bike before packing it and decided to leave it un-lubed so that the contents of the box were not gooey upon arrival. So, I need a rag to wipe the extra chain oil off to avoid picking up too much dirt. This may be inevitable though, the weather calls for rain in Portugal, with thunderstorms. The temperature is going to be around 60 degrees Fahrenheit though, which I am looking forward to!

PRO TIP: Account for time change when purchasing your ticket. I got lucky, I arrive early morning. I may be pretty ragged though, the first day may be rough. And short.

Great Post! More to come. I’ll try to make them shorter.

This is a blog about my trip across Europe and Asia. I am back in the States now, and turning this sequence of unedited, flurried and often poorly documented posts into a book, and hopefully a good one. That is proving to be a piece of work, but I am eager to do it. Now I'm back to work, trying to learn a thing or two about welding, get a career opportunity secured, and climb some rocks when I have a chance. Hope you enjoy it, but the book will be better *wink*.
