Weather Update:

I just got up and looked out the window. This is bad, but I have to try it, I think. It is downhill from here, maybe I can get out of the snow. Perhaps the sun will melt some of this too by midday. Point is, if I don’t go, I will be stuck here for three days, probably having spent 100 euros and gotten nowhere. There’s actually a hostel 9 miles down the road, so I’ll aim for that and see how the going is. At least if I’m snowed in I won’t be paying 30 euros a night.

Yeah, I could probably take a bus, but I’m going to try it. I have the gear, the main road looks clear, and there are plenty of towns and people around if I get in a bind. I’ll keep you posted!

This is a blog about my trip across Europe and Asia. I am back in the States now, and turning this sequence of unedited, flurried and often poorly documented posts into a book, and hopefully a good one. That is proving to be a piece of work, but I am eager to do it. Now I'm back to work, trying to learn a thing or two about welding, get a career opportunity secured, and climb some rocks when I have a chance. Hope you enjoy it, but the book will be better *wink*.
